This medium-bodied wine is a vibrant garnet colour with an elegant nose of dark fruits, dry roasted black pepper, liquorice and spice.
The palate displays a beautiful oak structure with flavours of briar and blackberries intermingled with our signature hint of garam masala and cocoa bean nuances which add complexity to the velvety palate. The elegant mouth feel is finished with a refreshing acid
Estate grown and hand, these grapes were harvested on the 10th of April 2013 after a good ripening period. The wine was matured in French Oak.
James Halliday Rating 92 - “Energetic red and black cherry fruits are sprinkled with pepper and spice, lifting the medium-bodied palate. Good length, great value.”
