Mayur Chardonnay
2023

$25.00 (p/bottle)

An old favourite, Chardonnay wine has been a popular choice around the backyard barbeque in Australia since the 1970s. Chardonnay is a master of disguise and varies from region to region depending on climate conditions. Variations range from a light-bodied wine that is ready to drink immediately to a more complex wine that only gets better with age.

Our Mayur Chardonnay wine

Mayur Chardonnay was born from grapes sourced from the highly acclaimed neighbouring Mount Benson Wine Region of South Australia.

Flavours of peach blossom and lemon pith dance over layers of fruitiness with just a hint of French Oak to give this wine added dimension.  The palate displays an elegant balance of stone fruit, citrus & honeysuckle flavours, ensuring it is elegantly balanced & refreshingly crisp.

Our award winning Mayur Chardonnay has an incredible intensity of fruit flavour and a discerning longevity.  Enjoy now or savour until 2025.

Food Pairing

Chardonnay is a natural accompaniment to chicken, pork, and white fish, but where it shines is next to a fresh seafood dish such as prawns, crayfish and crab.

We are extremely lucky to be living in the Robe Wine Region - surrounded by an abundance of fresh seafood.  Our local delicacy is crayfish, and we relish serving it with lashings of garlic butter straight off the barbecue!  Of course, the perfect addition is a delicious glass or two of Mayur Chardonnay!
